      Looking for something a little different this summer?

      The Eagle Point Moth Ball is one of Alberta’s most unique outdoor events—an evening where the forest transforms after sunset and the night comes alive.
      From glowing moth lights to guided bat walks and hands-on discovery, this is an experience that blends adventure, learning, and connection.
      It’s just as exciting for adults as it is for kids—making it a perfect family night out near Drayton Valley.

      • 7:10 pm to 7:20 pm – ALG (Alberta Lepidopterists’ Guild)
      • 7:20 to 7:30 pm – Native Bee Council
      • 7:30 to 7:40 pm – Edmonton & Area Land Trust
      • 7:40 to 8:00 pm – AARC (Alberta Amphibian and Reptiles Conservancy
      • 8:00 pm to 8:20 pm – Alberta Community Bats

Night Activities:

    • 8:45–9:30 PM – Open Moth Traps
    • 9:00 PM – Campfire & Marshmallows
    • 9:45 PM onward – Moth Lights Turned On
    • 10:15 pm to 11:00 pm – Bat Walk with Alberta Community Bats
    • 10:15pm to 11:00 pm – Night Creature Tour with AARC & Edmonton Land Trust
    • 11:05 pm to 11:50 pm – Bat Walk with Alberta Community Bats
    • 11:05 pm to 11:50 pm – Night Creature Tour with AARC & Edmonton Land Trust
