Eagle Point-Blue Rapids Parks Council and our partners have 3 great events happening in May!

Event 1: Eagle Point-Blue Rapids Parks Council is partnering with Alder Flats Fish & Game Association to participate in Global Big Day on May 5.  We’ll be out identifying and counting birds in the parks and on Buck Lake’s north shore, starting at 1:30 pm at Willey West and ending at Buck Lake with a wiener roast at the Fish & Game Group Camp.  This event is open to novice and professional bird watchers.  For more info, check out the details on our website at www.epbrparkscouncil.org/tag/global-big-day/

Event 2: The Drayton Valley Horse Club’s annual “Trail Ride Against Cancer” is taking place on May 26 on the Drayton Valley Horse Club Riverside Trails.  There will be two pleasure rides – the first ride leaves the staging area at 10:00 am and the second ride begins at 1:30 pm. (The staging area is located 3.1 km north of the Twp 485/RR91 junction, west of Drayton Valley).
