Get Your Nature On! Let’s Go!
At Guardians of the Park Summer Day Camp, your child will embark on exciting outdoor adventures! Each day, kids will participate in a variety of activities, including:
- Building Shelters:
Learn how to construct shelters using natural materials found in the wilderness. - Learning Fire-Safe Lighting Skills:
Learn how to light a fire with only flint and steel (safely and responsibly). - Exploring Nature Trails:
Trek through scenic nature trails while learning about local flora and fauna - Creating Nature Crafts:
Get creative with hands-on crafting activities using natural materials. - Foraging for Forest Food:
Let’s identify edible vs poisonous plants and safely forage for food in the forest. - Outdoor Cooking:
We have an outdoor cooking day to cook and sample fun campfire foods! - Science – We’ll hunt for butterflies and set a moth trap!
- Using a Compass and Orienteering Challenges:
Find your way around the Pembina Nordic Trails with a compass through fun orienteering challenges. - Playing Nature-Based Games:
Team sports, disc golf and fun team challenge activities in the great outdoors! - Tipi Time – wind down in the tipi at the end of each day!
- Chalet Lock Down – our escape room activity is a favourite!
- Archery or Fishing
Learn the basics of archery or head to the fishing hole under the guidance of experienced instructors. *Please note: This activity is available for Ages 10-12 group only.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
Cancellations made before June 30, 2024, will be eligible for a full refund (less processing fees). After this date, refunds will not be provided.
