The Parks Council is a grassroots non‐profit organization comprised of local recreational organizations, landowners, government, and industry who are responsible for the planning, funding, and management of the Parks System. We are consistently recognized locally, provincially, nationally, and internationally for making a community effort to bring better management to public lands.

Drayton Valley & Area Student Survey

The Parks Council wants to hear from local K-12 students! We want to know what subjects you would like to learn about in school and what types of activities you would love to be a part of your school experience. Please take our five question survey or have a parent help you so we can develop our environmental programs to suit your needs!

Brazeau County Recreation and Open Space Master Plan

Brazeau County and the Eagle Point – Blue Rapids Parks Council are joining forces to update the Draft Recreation and Open Space Master Plan for the County.

Over the next several months, the Parks Council will be seeking input from local residents, visitors and area stakeholders in an effort to determine what the recreation priorities are for Brazeau County residents.

This is a great opportunity to share your vision for the future of recreation and open space management across County.
