The Parks Council is a grassroots non‐profit organization comprised of local recreational member organizations, landowners, government, and industry representatives who are responsible for the planning, funding, and management of the Eagle Point Provincial Park and the Blue Rapids Provincial Recreational Area. We are consistently recognized locally, provincially, nationally, and internationally for making a community effort to bring better management to these public lands.

Annual Parks Day - Saturday, July 16, 2016!

Join us as we celebrate our 9th annual Parks Day on Saturday, July 16th! The Parks Day events are free however registration is necessary. Register below, by Sunday, July 10th.

Explore the Eagle Point- Blue Rapids parks system while paddling down the river with the Drayton Valley Paddling Club, learning archery with the Brazeau Bowbenders Archery Club, going for an ATV ride with the Brazeau ATV Club or taking a ride on a jet boat ride with the West Central Jet Boat Association!

The event and festivities will take place at Willey West Campground. We'll meet at the campground at 9:00am before heading out to the various pre-registered activities. Or stay around the campground for the day to explore our Educational Forest and Hillside and Hilltop trails located nearby in the beautiful natural setting of the Park.

The day's activities will be followed by a free community BBQ and interpretive presentation near the Willey West cook shack from 4:00 to 6:00pm.
