DESCRIPTION:Register Your Kids Today!\n\n  \n\nGuardians of the Park Summer Day Camp invites kids aged 7 to 12 to immerse themselves in the great outdoors\, right outside of Drayton Valley. Over four packed days\, kids will engage in an array of nature-based activities designed to spark their curiosity\, foster teamwork\, and create lasting memories. \nAt Guardians of the Park Summer Camp\, kids don’t just learn about nature—they experience it!\nEvery day is packed with hands-on adventures designed to build confidence\, curiosity\, teamwork\, and a lifelong connection to the outdoors. Here are a few activities they will participate in: \n\nOrienteering Challenges: Find their way around the Pembina Nordic Trails with a compass.\nNature-Based Games: Engage in games and team-building activities inspired by nature.\nNature Crafts: Get creative with hands-on crafting activities using natural materials.\nBuilding Shelters: Learn how to construct shelters using natural materials found in the wilderness.\nExploring Nature Trails: Trek through scenic nature trails while learning about local flora and fauna.\nOutdoor Cooking: We have an outdoor cooking day to cook and sample fun campfire foods!\nOutdoor Science: We’ll hunt for butterflies and set a moth trap!\nGet Active: Team sports\, disc golf and fun team challenge activities in the great outdoors!\nTipi Time: We wind down in the tipi at the end of each day!\n\nAges 10 – 12 Additional Activities \n\nFishing!
