Event Details

On December 19, families who explore the Rotary-Pembina Community Trails South may discover the Critter Christmas Tree!  This tree will be decorated with edible treats for birds and other animals to enjoy over the holidays!  You can even visit at night but bring your head lamp.  We’ve strung the tree with tiny LED lights powered by small solar panels!

If you want to find the tree, follow the edible decorations and signs from the trail head!  Feel free to make your own edible treats to hang on the Critter Christmas Tree!

Edible decorations must be safe for birds and other forest dwellers – please use only wool or natural hemp fibers for your hanger string.

VISIT OUR BLOG POST FOR EDIBLE DECORATIONS AND SUET RECIPES.

DIRECTIONS:  Go 2.5 km east of Drayton Valley’s 50th Street & 50th Avenue intersection to find the Rotary-Pembina Community Trails South trailhead, next to the cemetery.

As you walk, walk for signs along the way!
