What a thrill it can be to catch a fish. Fishing is a time-honored hobby that teaches patience and nature appreciation. The North Saskatchewan River is home to a variety of fish species and is an excellent place to plan your fishing excursion.
With a number of informal drive in and walk to spots located in the Blue Rapids Recreation Area you can enjoy a peaceful afternoon with little to no extra equipment or, if getting on the water is your thing launch your outing from Willey West Campground in Eagle Point Provincial Park.
Check Alberta Guide to Sport Fishing Regulations for details.
Alberta residents between 16 and 65 years must have an Alberta angling license to fish. All non-residents must obtain an Alberta angling license.
