The management planning process for Eagle Point Provincial Park and Blue Rapids Provincial Recreation Area will include many opportunities for sharing of ideas, questions and feedback. There will also be on-going consultations with interested area residents, recreational groups, and other stakeholders.
Besides the Government of Alberta, the Town of Drayton Valley, and Brazeau County, many local community clubs and groups are involved in the development of the Eagle Point - Blue Rapids Parks System.
The list of community-based organizations include:
The Council appreciates the patience of the community, stakeholders and other interest groups while we prepare a formal public consultation on the draft Management Plan.
Park Watch Volunteers are people willing to act as the 'eyes and ears' of the Eagle Point - Blue Rapids Park System, reporting problems when they see them, while doing the activities they love.
