Looking for Birders!
The Eagle Point – Blue Rapids Parks Council is looking for community members who want to Get Active! Get Outdoors! in the Park System as citizen scientists. Our first research question is: What kinds of birds live in the Park System?
There are a number of ways to participate in the EPBR Citizen Science birding project.
1. Keep track of the birds you see while enjoying the Pak System during your typical recreation activites anywhere in EPBR.
2. Participate in organized birding events (posted on this website).
3. Conduct bird counts at specific sites and/or stations identified by the Parks Council (will also be listed on this website).
Add to this list by sharing your findings with the Parks Council! Knowing what birds live where helps us to understand our park better. Pick up and submit your observation form to the EPBR Parks Council by:
